Limestone College, an SCICU Member Institution, Awarded Grant by Campus Consortium for LookingGlass+Kryptos Mobile Solution

Through this Grant worth $40,000, Limestone College will be able to leverage LookingGlass+Kryptos Mobile Solution at no cost.


Chicago, Illinois, June,12th 2017: Limestone College, a member institution of South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (SCICU), was awarded the Grant through the Campus Consortium Grant program in collaboration with SCICU. Limestone College is a private four-year, coeducational liberal arts college located in Gaffney, South Carolina.

The Grant will empower Limestone to not just create their official mobile application through the LookingGlass+Kryptos AppMaker but to also leverage an arrangement of LookingGlass+Kryptos Apps at no cost. The Grant will cover mobile app licensing, development, and maintenance costs for Limestone College.

LookingGlass+Kryptos will provide Limestone with the following apps as a part of the Grant award:

  • Campus News
  • Campus Events
  • Parking
  • Campus Directory
  • Campus Maps
  • Emergency Numbers
  • Social Media
  • Dinning
  • Athletics

Additionally, Limestone will get the following functionalities with LookingGlass+Kryptos AppMaker:

  • Freedom to develop apps in the desired format
    1. Template-based app creation
    2. Third Party App Launcher
    3. Writing Web Services
    4. Create and customize apps by writing web services and fetching data from any database
  • Manage/Edit existing apps
    1. Change your App logo or title
    2. Enable/Disable existing Apps
    3. Re-order existing Apps
    4. App Grouping
    5. Customize Business logic
    6. Manage App roles
    7. Theme Manager: Customize the look and feel of the app pages
  • Testing Environment:
    1. Flexibility to test/pilot apps before publishing
    2. Three Step Testing
  • App Exchange:
    1. Share your apps with and access those developed by other institutions

Through this interactive LookingGlass+Kryptos mobile solution, Limestone will be able to improve its institutional output and transform student success.
