Huntington University, an ICI Member Institution, Awarded Grant by Campus Consortium for LookingGlass+Kryptos Mobile Solution

Through this Grant worth $40,000, Huntington University will be able to leverage LookingGlass+Kryptos Mobile Solution at no cost for access to required information on the go.

 

Chicago, Illinois, June 22nd, 2017: Huntington University (HU), a member institution of Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI), was awarded this Grant through the Campus Consortium Grant program in collaboration with ICI. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations, including thriving programs in film, animation, exercise science and social work.

Through this Grant, Huntington University will be able to overcome their financial obstacle to leverage the LookingGlass+Kryptos AppMaker Platform for creating their own official mobile app and a set of LookingGlass+Kryptos Applets at no cost. The Grant will cover mobile app licensing, development, and maintenance costs for Huntington University.

LookingGlass+Kryptos will provide Indiana College with the following apps as a part of the Grant award:

  • Campus News
  • Campus Events
  • Parking
  • Campus Directory
  • Campus Maps
  • Emergency Numbers
  • Social Media
  • Dinning
  • Athletics

Additionally, HU will get the following functionalities with LookingGlass+Kryptos AppMaker:

  • Freedom to develop apps in the desired format
    1. Template-based app creation
    2. Third Party App Launcher
    3. Writing Web Services
    4. Create and customize apps by writing web services and fetching data from any database
  • Manage/Edit existing apps
    1. Change your App logo or title
    2. Enable/Disable existing Apps
    3. Re-order existing Apps
    4. App Grouping
    5. Customize Business logic
    6. Manage App roles
    7. Theme Manager: Customize the look and feel of the app pages
  • Testing Environment:
    1. Flexibility to test/pilot apps before publishing
    2. Three Step Testing
  • App Exchange:
    1. Share your apps with and access those developed by other institutions

Through this interactive LookingGlass+Kryptos mobile solution, HU will be able to improve its institutional output and transform student success.
