Calumet College of St. Joseph, an ICI Member Institution, Awarded Grant by Campus Consortium

Calumet College of St. Joseph will use the Grant worth $40,000 to leverage the LookingGlass+Kryptos Mobile App Platform to create their official mobile app at no cost


Chicago, Illinois, June 2nd, 2017: Calumet College of St. Joseph (CCSJ), a member institution of Independent Institutions of Indiana (ICI), was awarded this Grant through the Campus Consortium Grant program in collaboration with ICI.

Through this Grant, CCSJ will be able to build their official app on their own through the LookingGlass+Kryptos AppMaker and will also leverage a set of LookingGlass+Kryptos Apps at no cost. The grant will cover mobile app licensing, development, and maintenance costs for CCSJ.

LookingGlass+Kryptos will provide CCSJ with the following apps as a part of the Grant award:

  • Campus News
  • Campus Events
  • Parking
  • Campus Directory
  • Campus Maps
  • Emergency Numbers
  • Social Media
  • Dinning
  • Athletics

Additionally, CCSJ will get the following functionalities with LookingGlass+Kryptos AppMaker:

  • Freedom to develop apps in the desired format
    1. Template-based app creation
    2. Third Party App Launcher
    3. Writing Web Services
    4. Create and customize apps by writing web services and fetching data from any database
  • Manage/Edit existing apps
    1. Change your App logo or title
    2. Enable/Disable existing Apps
    3. Re-order existing Apps
    4. App Grouping
    5. Customize Business logic
    6. Manage App roles
    7. Theme Manager: Customize the look and feel of the app pages
  • Testing Environment:
    1. Flexibility to test/pilot apps before publishing
    2. Three Step Testing
  • App Exchange:
    1. Share your apps with and access those developed by other institutions

Through this interactive LookingGlass+Kryptos mobile solution, Calumet College of St. Joseph will be able to improve its institutional output and transform student success.
